As a robotics system technician or engineer, the main focus of his work is on installation, service and support. Configuration and setup of robotic camera systems, especially the KST-CamBot system. On-site system installation (integration of networked production environments throughout Europe). Project specific development of individual workflows in production automation. Within the scope of the above-mentioned positions, the employee will mainly be responsible for technical support in the area of “Automation of Film/TV Production” was used. Configuration and setup of computer systems in the area of AVID Editing / PAM / MAM / Media Central. On-site system installation (integration of networked production environments throughout Germany). Project specific development of individual workflows in the “film and TV production environment”. Technical support for end-to-end production. Technical support for P2HD / AVC-Intra / AVC-Ultra / 3DHD / 4K / UHD. Troubleshooting and system maintenance on site (Germany-wide).

Job description

Within the scope of the above-mentioned positions, the employee will mainly be responsible for the technical support of the editing and “tapeless workflow”. The activities here include all the work required for the realisation of such a project. Starting with the installation up to service and maintenance of the system. In addition to the pure NLE and network area, the entire end-to-end Production flow part of the field of activity, so also the handling of P2 and central server/storage solutions like Avid Media Central, Isis,Nexis, Interplay…etc.

your qualification

Your tasks:

As a VR system technician or engineer the focus is on installation, design, programming, service and support.

  • Configuration and setup of professional VR studio systems (zero density) hardware and software.
  • On-site system installation (integration of networked production environments throughout Europe).
  • Design of sets and graphics in Unreal Engine 4.
  • Intensive programming of blueprints and advanced functions in Unreal.
  • Project specific development of individual workflows for virtual production.
  • Technical support, troubleshooting and on-site system maintenance (Europe-wide).

Your qualification:

  • Completed training as a programmer/graphic designer and/or studies in computer science, graphic design, media technology or similar
  • Sound knowledge of Unreal Engine (general handling and blueprints).
  • Knowledge with VR systems, especially zero density.
  • Knowledge in graphic design and programming.
  • Knowledge in the IT area, especially IT hardware, server systems and networks.
  • Helpful: General experience in broadcasting and prof. AV.
