KST Moschkau GmbH has been in existence since 1985 and implements manufacturer-independent system integration for a wide range of applications in the fields of broadcast & ProAV, media technology and security technology. The family business relies on system construction from its own factory.
The Broadcast & ProAV division covers the entire spectrum from recording to post-production and archiving of professional media content. KST accompanies projects from A-Z, from planning to project planning and execution to service.
Media technology includes the equipment of meeting and video conference rooms as well as the realization of complex media technology systems in conference centers and control rooms. The media technology product range essentially includes the supply and turnkey installation of video, audio and control technology, but also conference and interpreting systems or visitor guidance and information systems. The required network technology equipment is also part of the scope of services.
It all started with security technology at KST. Intercom stations, surveillance cameras and complete monitoring systems were the mainstay of the company after its foundation in 1985. In the meantime, the company serves public institutions, private companies, but also correctional facilities in this area.
The System Construction division supports all other areas and forms the in-house interface between customer requirements, system integration and the technologies used by suppliers. The workshop attached to the offices uses CNC machines, 3D printers, laser cutters and blasting cabins to manufacture a wide range of in-house products, which are also sold by partners such as Panasonic.
Broadcast & ProAV
Broadcast & ProAV covers the complete range from recording to post-production and archiving of professional media content. KST accompanies your project from A to Z, from planning through project planning and execution to service.
In doing so, KST uses exactly the technical solutions that fit the budget in a tailor-made way, but without compromising on technology. KST not only relies on the latest technical developments, but also drives them forward. Workflows are tested and further developed in the Innovation-Center. Through its close relationship with long-standing partners such as Adobe, Affinity, AJA, Avid, Oaro, DELL, iZotope, HP, Panasonic, Riedel, Rimage, Ross, Spectra, Vantage and Zero Density, KST has direct contact with the development teams of the individual manufacturers and can thus offer exactly the customised solutions that the customer expects.
Automation
Studio automation offers many advantages: Productions can be made more complex with less effort through automated processes and also offer the possibility to programme camera movements in advance, shifting much of the work before the actual production.
The camera operators are relieved by planned processes so that they can concentrate on a clean picture and the ideal creative realisation during the production instead of on the technology.
To further develop the automation of the broadcast workflow, KST has developed its own modular product CamBot®.system developed.
Virtuality
With the help of the actual gaming software Unreal Engine from Epic Games and various interfaces for the implementation in the studio everyday life, for example with Zero Density’s “Reality Engine”, a high photorealism can now be achieved, despite real-time rendering.
For studio productions, this opens up new possibilities that offer many advantages.
Virtual studios enable professional productions in a much smaller space than would be possible in conventional studio construction, and are also more cost-efficient and significantly more flexible, as a wide variety of formats can be produced in one studio.
By using additional robotics, the creators can also work much more flexibly, and production gains in terms of reliability, repeatability and thus also optical and workflow-based quality.
Media technology
The media technology includes the equipment of meeting and / or video conference rooms up to the realization of complex media technology systems in large lecture and event rooms, conference centers and control rooms.
