Go. KST Moschkau implemented it as a partner of Panasonic for their ISE booth in Barcelona.
During the AV trade fair ISE in Barcelona, Panasonic showed the current line-up of Panasonic on this topic with a complete IP studio at the booth. KST Moschkau built this studio as a partner of Panasonic within a few days.
The fact that Panasonic pursues a glass-to-glass strategy, which extends from the lens of the cameras to the screen, was of course an advantage here. Furthermore, Panasonic has now also fully focused its product range on IP. Panasonic’s products are designed to take advantage of all the benefits and flexibility of a true IP environment.
Support for IP standards such as NDI, SRT and ST2110 is already an integral part of Panasonic’s portfolio.
For example, the flagship AW-UE160 PTZ camera is the first camera to support ST2110. The AK-PLV100 studio camera, on the other hand, facilitates networked workflows with high image quality, thanks in no small part to the S35 5.7K MOS sensor and PL-mount for shallow depth of field. This camera also leverages expertise in IP-based live production.
At the heart of Panasonic’s IP strategy, however, is the Kairos IP production mixer. This platform delivers high performance by taking full advantage of the power and flexibility of the CPU and GPU, balancing the entire processing load without the configuration constraints of traditional hardware-based systems.
Another important component in the IP studio is automation. KST Moschkau integrated KST-Cambot with the newly integrated Cobot KST-H20BC in the IP studio in Barcelona. This allows the automation process in the studio to be driven forward. Other robotics solutions such as Panapod or PTZ Vertical Move System can also be integrated.
